I am a financial writer and content creator, a former economic journalist at a major economic media in Indonesia, and listed as a Certified Financial Planner.
So far, I have collaborated with various leading financial institutions such as banking, insurance, financial technology companies, government and private institutions, and others, in financial inclusion and literacy events and campaigns, both as presenters, speakers, financial consultant as well as financial content creators.
The development of financial literacy in Indonesia to date has shown promising progress. Entering the second quarter of 2022, the number of capital market investors has approached 9 million people. However, referring to data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Indonesia’s financial literacy index is only 38.03% and the financial inclusion index is at 76.19% (OJK Survey, 2019).
I believe, that through a good quality financial literacy campaign through seminars, and webinars, as well as the production of quality financial content in various formats and media, the level of skills and financial literacy of the Indonesian people, can be further increased. Thus, there is a greater opportunity for the community to achieve prosperity more efficiently starting from adequate financial literacy and healthy financial management.
